This celadon long-necked vase (Janggyeongbyeong) is attributed to the Goryeo Dynasty Yeoyogye (汝窯系) tradition. It is said to have been excavated from the sea, and its surface is characterized by numerous attached barnacles and marine life.

송대 여요계(汝窯系) 청자로 전해지는 장경병으로, 해양에서 출토된 것으로 전해지며 기면 곳곳에 다량의 따개비류 해양생물 부착물이 그대로 남아 있는 점이 특징적입니다.

형태는 비교적 풍만한 난형의 동체에서 어깨가 완만하게 좁아지고, 가늘고 긴 원통형 목이 수직으로 솟아오르는 구성입니다. 목과 동체 사이에는 둥글게 돌출된 반상형(盤狀形) 턱을 두어 상·하부의 형태를 뚜렷하게 구분하였습니다. 전체적으로 세장한 목과 풍만한 동체가 대비되어 안정감 있는 비례를 형성합니다.

기면에는 회청색을 띠는 청자유가 시유되어 있으며, 특히 목 부분과 저부 등 해양 부착물이 비교적 적은 곳에서 차분한 청회색 유색을 확인할 수 있습니다. 유면에는 미세한 빙렬이 관찰되며, 장기간의 침수와 매몰 환경으로 인해 동체 대부분에는 모래질 침착물과 해양 퇴적물이 두껍게 고착되어 있습니다.

가장 주목되는 특징은 동체와 목, 돌출된 턱 및 굽 주변에 집중적으로 부착된 따개비류의 흔적입니다. 크고 작은 개체가 군집을 이루며 붙어 있고 일부는 패각 구조가 남아 있는 반면 일부는 탈락 흔적만 확인됩니다. 이러한 부착물과 침착층이 기물의 표면을 광범위하게 덮고 있어 해양에서 장기간 침수되었던 전래 상태를 보여주는 중요한 외관상의 특징으로 볼 수 있습니다.

저부 역시 따개비류와 해양 침착물이 다량 남아 있으며, 일부 노출된 부분에서는 청회색 유면을 확인할 수 있습니다. 표면의 유약 마모와 변색, 침착, 패각 부착 및 탈락 흔적 등은 현재 작품의 해양출토 상태를 구성하는 요소이므로 과도한 세척이나 따개비 제거보다는 현 상태를 보존하는 것이 좋겠습니다.

사진상 목과 동체 일부에는 해양 침착물이 비교적 적어 원래의 유색과 빙렬을 관찰할 수 있는 부분이 남아 있으며, 다른 부분은 오랜 침수에 따른 부착물과 퇴적층으로 상당 부분 덮여 있습니다. 일반적인 전세품과 달리 해양출토품 특유의 표면 상태와 부착물이 강하게 나타나는 자료적·수집적 특징을 지닌 작품입니다.
