The ACUMIK draws inspiration from ZEN GARDEN culture.

Breaking away from the notion that running shoes must be overtly sporty, we have applied design principles inspired by the natural elements found in a ZEN GARDEN – sand, gravel, rocks, and trees – to create a calm and stable runner.

Our proprietary outsole, "IYSO-METRY," replicates the patterns of sand found in a ZEN GARDEN, designed so that only lines, not the entire surface of the outsole, make contact with the ground. The extra-wide fit base is optimized to prevent overpronation and supination during wear. A TPU Shank in the arch area, acting as a cervical vertebra, provides overall torsional stability. The layered sections at the front and rear function as an Absorbing-Zone, supporting weight externally and absorbing impact internally, embodying IYSO's philosophy in creating the most stable runner.

러닝슈즈는 스포티해야 한다는 관념에서 벗어나 차분하고, 안정감이 있는 러너를 만들기 위해 ZEN GARDEN에 배치된 모래와 자갈, 바위, 나무 등을 대자연에 빗대어 표현하는 방식을 제품 디자인에 적용하였습니다.

자체 개발한 아웃솔 "IYSO-METRY"는 ZEN GARDEN에서 볼 수 있는 모래밭의 모양을 담아 지면에 아웃솔의 면이 아닌 선이 닿도록 설계하였습니다. Extra-wide fit으로 설계된 바닥면은 착화시 과내-외전을 방지해 주는 역할에 최적화 되어 있습니다. 아치부분에서 경추 역할을 하는 TPU Shank가 전체적인 뒤틀림과 안정성을 제공하며, 앞, 뒤로 층을 이뤄 들어간 부분은 무게를 밖에서 지지하고 충격은 안으로 흡수가 되는 Absorbing-Zone의 역할을 함으로서 가장 안정감이 돋보이는 러너를 만들기 위한 IYSO의 철학이 담겨있습니다.
