The entire surface of the bowl is imprinted with white butterfly shapes, set against the delicate beauty of crazing on the glaze.
Observing the interior and sides reveals iridescent silvery crystals, naturally formed through kiln transformation (yo-byun), reminiscent of the Milky Way in the night sky.
Notably, the base retains its rough and unadorned texture by deliberately leaving the clay (tae-to) unglazed.
The contrast between the dark green frothy matcha, the black interior of the bowl, and the silvery crystals during whisking maximizes the aesthetic of the tea ceremony (Chado).

일본 천목다완
칠흑 같은 흑유(黑釉) 위로 화려하게 피어난 은빛 결정과 인상적인 나비 문양이 절묘하게 어우러진 전형적인 천목 다완입니다.
기물의 전면에는 백색의 나비 형상이 각인되어 있는데, 유막 표면에 섬세하게 갈라진 빙열이 아름답습니다
다완 내부와 측면을 보면 가마 안에서 요변(窯變)을 거치며 우연이 만들어낸 은빛 결정들이 마치 밤하늘의 은하수처럼 영롱합니다
특히 굽 부분은 유약을 바르지 않는 기법을 통해 흙(태토) 본연의 거칠고 담백한 질감을 그대로 살려냈습니다
말차를 격불할 때 짙은 초록빛의 차 거품과 다완 내부의 검은 바닥, 그리고 은빛 결정들이 어우러지는 대조는 차도(茶道)의 미학을 극대화합니다.
