Jeong Dong Won returns with his special album 'Sopumjip Vol. 1'. This special album 'Sopumjip Vol. 1' includes 'Monologue', which was pre-released on September 1st, and remake songs sung by Jeong Dong Won's voice from established artists. The remake songs were selected from fan submissions from 'Uju Chongdongwon' (Jeong Dong Won's fandom) for songs they wanted to hear in Jeong Dong Won's voice, making a total of 12 tracks including instrumental versions.

The title tracks for this album are the pre-released song 'Monologue' and Jo Han Jo's 'If', reinterpreted in Jeong Dong Won's unique style, serving as double title tracks. Notably, the lyrics of 'If', which convey the passion of 'being able to do anything for a loved one', resonated with Jeong Dong Won's feelings for his fans.

The album also includes songs from esteemed senior artists such as Cho Yong Pil's 'The Teahouse in That Winter', Choi Jin Hee's 'Little Doll', Jo Han Jo's 'Time', and the late Nam In Soo's 'Nostalgic Serenade', enhancing the quality of this special album.

가수 정동원이 스페셜 앨범 '소품집 Vol.1'으로 돌아왔다. 이번 스페셜 앨범 '소품집 Vol.1' 앨범은 지난 9월 1일 선공개 된 '독백'과 기성 가수들의 곡을 정동원의 목소리로 부른 리메이크 곡들로 채워져 있으며, 리메이크로 수록된 곡들은 정동원의 팬덤인 '우주총동원'에게 공모를 받아 정동원의 목소리로 듣고 싶은 곡들 중 선별하여 Inst 포함 총 12트랙을 앨범에 수록하게 되었다.
이번 앨범의 타이틀곡은 선공개 곡으로 선보였던 '독백'과 함께 가수 조항조의 '만약에'를 정동원만의 스타일로 부르며 더블 타이틀곡으로 정했다. 특히 '만약에'라는 곡의 가사가 '사랑하는 사람을 위해 무엇이든 할 수 있다'는 열정적인 사랑의 내용을 담고 있는데, 이 포인트가 정동원이 팬들을 향한 마음과 들어맞았다. 그 외에 조용필의 '그 겨울의 찻집', 최진희의 '꼬마인형', 조항조의 '때', 고(故) 남인수의 '추억의 소야곡' 등 쟁쟁한 선배 가수들의 곡들을 수록하며 스페셜 앨범의 퀄리티를 높였다.
