### Description:

This is a beautiful, authentic Andong Soban from the Joseon Dynasty, featuring a rich patina and exquisite wood grain. Despite its age, the table remains remarkably stable, free from warping or wobbling, with a flat and sturdy base.

The legs are adorned with carved "pungyeol" motifs, symbolizing bats and clouds, adding a touch of elegance and wishing prosperity and good fortune. To ensure stability, a central reinforcing brace has been added between the legs.

It is believed that this type of table was used in affluent households of high-ranking officials during the Joseon era, where guests were frequently entertained. It was also known as a "one-person table" or "feast table" due to its use for solitary dining or for honoring special guests during banquets.

This Soban was likely used both indoors and outdoors, perhaps placed on a mat during large gatherings to serve honored guests. Its good condition, free from creaking, makes it a versatile piece for use as a tea table or a dessert table, adding a stylish touch to any setting.

**Details on Condition:**

* The top surface exhibits four meticulously crafted joinery marks, adding to its aesthetic appeal.
* The construction employs traditional Joseon-era joinery techniques without visible metal nails on the legs or top surface.
* Upon testing with a magnet, a few small iron nails were detected on the side of the top surface. These appear to be a later addition, likely from decades ago, used to reinforce the joinery. This is a minor imperfection consistent with a well-used antique.
* There are minor signs of paint repair in approximately three small areas on the underside of the top surface, near the carved "pungyeol" motifs. These repairs are subtle and may not be noticeable in photographs.

This is a genuine folk artifact from the Joseon Dynasty, used as a functional item rather than a mere decorative piece. Minor signs of wear, including subtle scratches or wear on the lacquer, are to be expected and are part of its authentic vintage character. Embracing these imperfections will allow you to fully appreciate the deep, original patina and the authentic vintage charm of this piece.

땟물과 결이 이쁜 옛날 안동소반 입니다
오랜세월 이지만 뒤틀림(뒤뚱거림) 흔들림 없이 반듯
하구요
바닥도 평평하니 좋습니다
양쪽 다리사이도 밋밋함이 없이 박쥐나 구름을 상징하는
풍열의 조각으로 되었구요
풍요와 복을 바라는 모습으로 기품이 있습니다
다리의 흔들림 없도록 다리받침의 중앙부위 가로로
중대를 보강해 설치되었습니다
조선시대 행세 꽤나 한다는 큰 부잣집 양반가에서
사용 되었으라 봅니다
옛날 사대부 집안은 손님이 끊이지 않게 방문했습니다
혼자 오시는 1인용 상 이라고도 불렸기에 잔치상
이라는 호칭도 되었습니다
실내 에서도 쓰고 크게 잔치가 있을때 에는 마당의
멍석위로 귀한분을 별도로 대접 했으리라 생각됩니다
삐걱 거림 없이 상태도 양호하기에 찻상으로,다과상
으로 두루두루 멋스럽게 연출 하시며 쓰시기 좋을듯
합니다
상태의 최대한 설명은 아래와 같습니다
상판위로 4곳의 끼워맟춤 흔적 멋스럽습니다
전체 깎고 다리부분 까지 못자국이 없는 끼워맞춤의
조선시대 제작방식 이나~
약간의 옥의티 가 있다면 나무못만 사용 되어야할
상판옆면에 자석을 붙여보니 철못이 몇곳 관찰 됩니다
일이년 전의 못박음이 아니라 아주 오래전 실사용품
이었다 보니 후대에 수십년전에 작은쇠못 몇곳 박음이
있습니다 아마도 약간의 미세한 상판의 고정을 위해
사용 되면서 그리 하셨겠지요
수십년전 그 분들 께서 이건 먼 훗날 값비싼 골동품이
될거니까 못 몇개도 박아서도 안되겠지?
그런 생각은 없으셨겠지요...^^
그외 사진과 동영상에 설명 드리는 상판아래 풍열조각
부위로 원래 나무까짐의 보수인지 제작때 부터 그런건지
아니면 칠까짐의 상처 인지 자그마한 부위 앞뒤 3곳
정도에 칠보수 흔적 보입니다
설명 안드리면 사진상 크게 표도 나지 않을 정도입니다
옛날 조선시대 민속품 입니다~
장식품이 아니었고 사용품 이었습니다
옷칠의 사용흔적 이나 미세한 칠까짐은 정상범위로
이해 하셔야 합니다
