**Dimensions:**
* Diameter: Approximately 16cm
* Height: Approximately 10cm
**Weight:** The jar has a substantial, weighty feel.
**Condition:** Please note that the glaze is thinly applied on the upper section, resulting in a small chip. This is located on the underside and is not significantly noticeable during display.
**Artistic Technique & Motifs:**
The surface is adorned with white slip, onto which iron-based pigments were applied to create vibrant, dark reddish-brown line drawings of fish (eomon). This technique is a hallmark of Buncheong ware.
**Symbolism:**
Traditionally, fish motifs in Korean pottery symbolize auspicious meanings such as fertility, abundance, and career success (represented by the 'Deungyongmun' or carp leaping through the dragon gate).
**Historical Use:**
During the Joseon period, these portable vessels were designed for convenience, used to carry liquids like wine or water during outdoor excursions.
