This exquisite piece originates from the renowned Cheongsong kiln, one of the four major provincial kilns of the Joseon Dynasty. For approximately 500 years, from the 16th century onwards, Cheongsong's kilns were prominent, alongside the Mungyeong kilns, forming a significant ceramic tradition in the Gyeongsang Province.

The tea caddy features delicate floral motifs painted with green underglaze pigment on both the front and back. Its size is ideal for use as a tea caddy.

The overall aesthetic is refined and graceful, exuding an undeniable elegance. The use of green pigment specifically appeared in the late 19th century.

The glaze, made from pulverized pottery stone and rich in minerals, presents a remarkably fine and lustrous milky white color.

Cheongsong kiln ceramics are generally known for their lightness. This piece is in perfect condition, free from any chips or flaws.
