A rare and valuable ceramic piece from the Joseon Dynasty, dating to the Honghui era (1425-1425). This exquisite vase features a motif of a large, fluid dragon, symbolizing power and grace. The inscription 'Honghui created and presented to Yangyeong' indicates it was a special imperial commission. Yangyeong was a high-ranking official, and the fact that this piece was made for imperial presentation underscores its high quality. The absence of five-clawed dragons (ojoryong) suggests it was intended as a gift for a high official rather than for imperial use.
