This exquisite celadon porcelain vase features a rare red glaze (Hongyu), a technique known for its exceptional difficulty in production. Achieving the correct firing temperature is crucial, as even slight variations can diminish the vibrant color.

The vase is adorned with incised carvings (Seongak), a sophisticated technique where patterns are delicately etched onto the surface. This method creates a subtle elegance, with the patterns becoming visible and alive depending on the light and viewing angle, reflecting a refined imperial craftsmanship.

The incised lines are rendered naturally, with a meticulous and detailed depiction of dragon scales, indicating they were hand-carved rather than molded. The red glaze itself symbolizes auspiciousness, wealth, and protection, deeply associated with imperial aesthetics.

한번이라도 온도가 안 맞으면 색감이 죽습니다.
선각- 표면을 얇게 조각해 문양을 새기는 기법.
겉으로 화려하게 드러내지 않고 빛과 각도에 따라 문양이 살아나는 절제된 황실기법입니다.
☆선각선이 꽤 자연스럽고 비늘 묘사가 정교합니다. 비늘은 찍어낸게 아니가 손각입니다.
홍유의 색감 자체가 황실의 길상, 부귀, 벽사를 상징합니다.
영락~선덕년간의 홍유는 보석같은 붉은색 때문에 회상급 기물로 인정받는 기물입니다.
