This white porcelain vase, decorated with blue and white gourd motifs, exemplifies the characteristics of the Bunwon kiln during the late Joseon Dynasty (18th-19th century).

### Features:

* **Shape:** The vase has a low, slightly everted rim and a round, full body, typical of late Joseon Dynasty vases.
* **Glaze:** It features a subtle blue-white glaze.
* **Decoration:** Cobalt blue underglaze is used to depict cloud-shaped Ruyi motifs on the shoulders and a richly painted gourd branch with fruits across the body.
* **Motif Significance:** The gourd fruit, resembling Buddha's hand, symbolizes 'fortune' (복 - bok). It was a popular auspicious motif among the Joseon royalty and scholar-officials, representing wishes for abundant blessings and longevity.
* **Aesthetic:** The contrast between the white porcelain background and the deep blue underglaze is striking. The vase exhibits stable proportions from its base to its foot, making it a highly collectible ceramic piece.

### Condition Note:

There appears to be a repaired crack on the rim, which is subtle. It is offered at a significantly reduced price.

조선시대 백자 청화 불수문 항아리 (구연부 10cm / 몸통 20cm / 높이 15cm)

조선 후기(18~19세기) 관요 분원 가마의 특징을 잘 보여주는 백자 청화 불수문 항아리입니다. 구연부가 낮고 밖으로 살짝 외반되었으며, 몸통이 둥글고 풍만하게 부풀어 오른 전형적인 조선 후기 항아리 기형을 갖추고 있습니다. 은은한 청백색 유약 위로 코발트 청화 안료를 사용하여 어깨에는 구름 모양의 여의두문을 두르고, 몸통 전면에는 회화적인 필치로 불수감 나무 가지와 열매를 가득 채워 넣었습니다. 부처의 손을 닮은 열매인 불수감은 '복(福)'을 상징하여 조선 후기 왕실과 사대부층에서 다복과 장수를 기원하는 길상 문양으로 큰 사랑을 받았습니다. 백색의 바탕과 짙푸른 청화 발색의 대비가 선명하며, 기단부와 굽까지 안정적인 비례감을 보여주는 소장 가치 높은 도자기입니다
