This collection includes fragments of:

* **Goryeo Celadon (13th Century, Official Kiln):** Pieces reflecting the high quality of celadon production during the Goryeo period.
* **Buncheong Ware (15th-16th Century):** Shards showcasing the distinctive aesthetics of Buncheong ceramics from the Joseon Dynasty.
* **White Porcelain (Daily Ware):** Fragments of everyday white porcelain pieces.

Notably, this collection features rare items such as kiln stilts ('dojimi') and bricks used to support pottery during firing, bearing the authentic marks of smoke and heat from the kiln. These elements provide a raw and beautiful testament to the firing process.

The fragments exhibit characteristics typical of daily life ceramics from the mid-to-late Joseon Dynasty. The kilns in regions like Gangjin, known for their celadon production, and areas near Mudeungsan or Goheung in Jeonnam were concentrated hubs for Buncheong ware and daily ceramic production (e.g., Chungyo-dong kiln sites). The features are highly comparable to those found at Joseon Dynasty Buncheong ware kiln sites.

고려13세기 관요. ​분청사기의 15~16세기에 해당하며 생활백자도편등 특히 도자기를 받치는 전돌.도지미가 있는 것도 귀한 자료랍니다. 불의그을린 흔적들이 고스란히 남아있어 더욱 멋이있네요.

조선 중기 이후의 전형적인 생활 자기 형태입니다. 강진관요청자.백자도자기
전남 지역(무등산 인근이나 고흥 등)은 이러한 분청사기와 생활 도자기 가마터가 밀집되어 있던 곳입니다.
(충효동 가마터 등)에서 조선시대 분청사기 가마터의 특징과 매우 흡사합니다.
