This is a unique small jar featuring two chilin (螭獸) attached as if embracing the body over a clear green glaze. Despite its small size, it showcases remarkable three-dimensional sculptural beauty. Believed to be a piece from the late Qing Dynasty, it was likely crafted for use as a desk accessory to hold stationery, incense, or medicinal herbs.

The jar has a rounded body with a short rim. The two chilin on either side are depicted with their heads raised, stretching their bodies to encircle the jar.

The vivid green glaze, reminiscent of greenstone, combined with sporadic brown kiln variations, creates a distinctive atmosphere.
