[BUNJANG] Lee Kyung-hyo Celadon 5-Person Tea Set (Unused Work) / 토곡 이경효 5인 분청다기 세트 (미사용 작품)

This is an unused 5-person Celadon tea set by the late artist Lee Kyung-hyo.

Crafted with the artistry of Lee Kyung-hyo, who was born in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, and studied under the late Shin Jeong-hee, this piece is a testament to her unique path as a ceramist. Fired in a traditional wood-fired kiln, this valuable work holds significant collector's value as no new pieces can be acquired since the artist's passing.

The subtle yet sophisticated color palette, a beautiful blend of brown and purple, is exceptional. The naturally flowing glaze patterns and delicate crackles (bing-ryeol) add artistic depth. It boasts a substantial weight and excellent grip, characteristic of wood-fired kilns, conveying the cozy and comfortable feel unique to Buncheong ware when held. It also performs excellently in retaining heat during use. The artist's unique signature is elegantly placed on the bottom.

**Condition:**
This is an unused work, kept carefully in storage.

However, there is a very minor chip ('kkim-sael twim' phenomenon) on the rim of the teapot. Please refer to the attached photos before purchasing.

​경상남도 사천 출생으로 고 신정희 선생을 사사하며 독보적인 도예자의 길을 걸으셨던 이경효 작가님의 손길이 담긴 수작입니다. 장작가마 소성을 거쳐 태어난 작품으로, 현재는 작가님께서 작고하시어 더 이상 새로운 작품을 만나볼 수 없는 만큼 소장 가치가 매우 높은 귀한 작품입니다.
​브라운과 보라색이 오묘하게 어우러진 차분하면서도 세련된 색감이 일품이며, 자연스럽게 흘러내린 유약의 결합과 섬세한 빙렬이 예술적인 깊이를 더해줍니다. 장작가마 특유의 숨결이 느껴지는 묵직한 무게감과 뛰어난 그립감을 자랑하며, 손에 쥐었을 때 분청 특유의 포근함과 편안함이 전해집니다. 실사용 시 절수력 또한 매우 훌륭합니다. 작가 고유의 수결이 하단에 멋스럽게 자리하고 있습니다.
