세계미술계에서 중국미술 돌풍을 일으킨 냉군 유소동 증범지 등의 선배, 선구자격으로
중국 현대미술 신조류를 가장 앞서 개척하고 이룬 인물로 평가되는 초대형작가입니다.

1981년 전통의 명문 사천미술학원을 졸업하며 모교에서 강의를 하며
작가생활을 시작한 라중립은 1984년부터 2년간 서구명문 벨기에 왕립미술대학에서
유화연구과정을 마치고 중국과 세계무대에서 활발한 활동을 시작합니다.
1983년 파리살롱전 출품을 시작으로 미국 뉴욕과 유럽을 중심으로 수많은 해외개인전 초청전을 개최하며 세계적인 명성을 얻었으며,
사천미술원장과 중국유화가협회 부회장을 역임한 인물입니다.
또한 그의 작품들은 2000년대 들면서 세계적인 평가를 받으며
