여요 특유의 은은하고 맑은 천청색 유약이 전면에 고르게 시유된 사각 형태의 병이다. 구연부는 나팔꽃처럼 완만하게 벌어진 화구(花口) 형태를 띠며 목 부분에는 물고기와 용의 형상을 결합한 어룡(魚龍) 모양의 귀가 대칭으로 부착되어 기물의 격조를 높였다. 동체는 각이 살아있는 사각형으로 제작되어 곡선의 부드러움과 직선의 견고함이 조화를 이루며 표면에는 미세한 빙렬(氷裂)이 관찰되어 여요 자기만의 깊이 있는 미감을 잘 보여준다. 바닥면에는 여요의 전형적인 특징인 참깨 모양의 지준(支釘) 흔적이 남아 있어 당시의 정교한 소성 기법을 확인할 수 있는 귀한 기물이다.
