A celadon porcelain vase, likely from the Republican era (Minguo period) but representative of the peak of ceramic artistry during the Qianlong era (1736-1795). This piece features a 'Fencai' (famille rose) overglaze enamel decoration of magpies and plum blossoms on a contrasting celadon base. The white 'Fencai' enamel artistically depicts the flowers and birds, showcasing excellent luster. Craquelure (cracks) are visible on the plum blossom stems, a hallmark of high-quality ceramic work. The vase measures 27.8 cm in height, with a mouth diameter of 10.9 cm and a base diameter of 9.6 cm. This item is part of a private collection being released after 30 years of ownership.
