The painting depicts a woman looking back with a banana tree in the background. The inscription in the upper right corner reads, ‘辛亥夏月之吉 金門畵史 冷枚 寫’ which indicates that Leng Mei, the court painter from Jinmen, painted this artwork in the summer of the Xinhai year.

The golden arabesque patterns on the woman's clothes and the soft coloring technique highlight the characteristics of the typical court painting style.

우측 상단의 제문 **‘辛亥夏月之吉 金門畵史 冷枚 寫’**를 통해 신해년 여름날 금문의 화사인 냉매가 그렸음을 알 수 있습니다. 여인의 옷자락 하단에 표현된 황금빛 당초 문양과 부드러운 설채(채색) 기법은 전형적인 궁정 화풍의 특징을 잘 보여줍니다. 미감정품.
