This exquisite porcelain vase from the Qing Dynasty features a rich design with five roosters adorning the body. The rooster, pronounced '雄鸡' (xiong ji), sounds similar to '官' (guan), meaning official. Therefore, multiple roosters symbolize 'adding an official position to an official position' (官上加官), signifying wishes for career advancement and great fortune.

White chrysanthemums are painted on the neck of the vase, complemented by grasses, flowers, and stones on the body, creating a visually abundant composition. The coloration predominantly utilizes矾红 (fan hong - iron red), 墨黑 (mo hei - ink black), and 绿彩 (lu cai - green glaze), showcasing a vibrant and passionate style characteristic of the late Qing Dynasty's folk porcelain.

병 몸체에는 수탉 다섯 마리가 그려져 있는데, '오길(五吉)'의 발음과 같아 '오복이 문에 들어오고 대길리(大吉大利)하다'는 뜻을 담고 있습니다. '수탉(雄鸡)'은 '관(官)'과 발음이 같아, 여러 마리의 수탉은 '관에 관을 더하다(官上加官)'라는 상서로운 의미를 나타냅니다. 이는 청대 도자기에 매우 유행하던 주제로, 관직이 높아지고 일이 순조롭길 바라는 염원을 담고 있습니다.

병 목 부분에는 흰 국화가 그려져 있고, 병 몸체에는 풀, 꽃, 돌 등이 곁들여져 전체 구도가 풍부합니다. 색채는 주로 번홍(矾红), 먹흑(墨黑), 녹채(绿彩)를 사용하여 화려하고 열정적인 스타일을 보이며, 전형적인 청말 민요 채자기의 특징을 갖추고 있습니다.
