This is the Mojeon used to make Sangpyeong Tongbo coins. As can be seen from the character '戶' (Ho), it was produced by the Ho-jo, the financial institution responsible at the time. Mojeon are the original molds used to produce Yeopjeon (coins), and are therefore very precisely crafted.
Mojeon (母錢) means 'mother coin,' and refers to the intricate model created to mint coins for circulation. It was an essential preparation step in coin manufacturing, used to stamp Yeopjeon by pressing them onto sand molds, much like photocopying.
Coins in circulation are called Jajeon (子錢, 'son coins') when compared to Mojeon. The Mojeon, or 'mother coin,' is characterized by its extreme precision and larger size compared to the Jajeon, or 'son coin.'
Most importantly, Mojeon are extremely rare.
