This exquisite Celadon Flower Tea Bowl is a testament to the artistry of Shin Sang-ho (born 1947), a distinguished ceramic artist.
**About the Artist:**
Shin Sang-ho graduated from Hongik University's Department of Ceramics and its graduate school. For over 40 years, he has explored the possibilities of clay, adding depth and innovation to contemporary ceramic art. His achievements include the Ceramic Art Award at the 1979 Space Art Exhibition for his ceramic plate paintings and a Presidential Commendation in 1988. He served as the Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Hongik University until 2014. His works are held in prestigious collections worldwide, including the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Sèvres - Cité de la céramique in Paris.

40여년 간 흙이 가진 가능성을 탐구하고 현대 도예 예술의 깊이를 더하며 혁신을
이루었다는 평을 받는다. 도자기판에 그림을 그려 가마에서 구운 1979 공간대전
도예상 및 1988 국무총리 표창 등을 수상했고, 2014년까지 홍익대 미대 학장을
지냈다. 런던 대영박물관, 빅토리아 알버 트 박물관, 파리 세브르 국립도자박물관
등에 작품이 소장돼있다.
