Authentic plum blossom painting by Soja Park Chunmook.

Soja Park Chunmook (1948~), a native of Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, was a master of Korean painting and literati painting. He was an invited artist at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Park Chunmook graduated from the Graduate School of Education at Dongguk University and was recognized in the art world for winning numerous special selections at the National Art Exhibition and the Korea Art Exhibition. His work encompasses poetry, calligraphy, and painting, deeply expressing the emotions of nature and humanity. He received five selections and special selections at the National Art Exhibition and was selected as an invited artist by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in 1991.

This piece, with its delicate brushstrokes, beautifully depicts plum blossoms on a plum tree. It would add a touch of charm to a tea room, especially in the coming spring.

There is a slight crease, but it would be best preserved by backing it and framing it. The size is 69x48 cm.

국전 5회입선 특선을 하였으며 1991년 국립현대미술관의 초대작가로 선정되었습니다.
섬세한 붓터치로 매화나무위로 매화를 잘 그린 작품입니다.
다가오는 봄 다실등에 걸어두면 운치가 넘쳐날듯합니다.
