**Details:**
This is the twelfth and final studio album by The Beatles. Released on May 8, 1970, alongside the documentary of the same name, it came out a month after the official announcement of the band's dissolution. Four months after John Lennon's departure in January 1970, the remaining Beatles completed "Let It Be" and recorded "I Me Mine."
"Let It Be" was produced by George Martin and released as the second single from the album, reaching number one on the UK and US charts.
