[BUNJANG] US Mint Turtle Ship 5 Won Banknote 65 EPQ Grade / 미제 거북선 오환 65등급 EPQ
There were five types of US-issued Korean currency: 1 Won, 5 Won, 10 Won, 100 Won, and 1,000 Won.
The 5 Won banknote shares its design with the 1 Won banknote. However, while the 1 Won is common, the 5 Won is rare.
You will notice the difference when consulting a currency catalog. Uncirculated 5 Won banknotes, even those graded 64, are considered rare. A grade of 65 EPQ for this banknote is exceptionally scarce.
Obtaining certification from PMG (Paper Money Guaranty) in the US incurs a fee of 65,000 KRW and takes over four months. Securing high grades has become increasingly difficult recently.
Therefore, collecting banknotes that have already been graded is a more stable and advantageous approach.
The prices have been determined based on the rarity, condition, and grade of the banknotes.
I have listed various banknotes and coins at appropriate prices. Your interest is appreciated.
