## About the Album "Arrm8 (아름8)"

VANTA01 and MPT present their new album, "Arrm8 (아름8)". This full-length album is a fusion of the sounds they have cultivated individually and together, culminating in a unified work. The etymology of 'Arrm' (아름) is rooted in 'me' (나) and 'like me' (나와 같다), signifying 'being most like myself.' The number 8 is inspired by the vertical representation of the Möbius strip, symbolizing infinity. Thus, "Arrm8 (아름8)" signifies 'infinite beauty,' or 'infinite selfhood.'

In a rapidly changing world, we often lose ourselves and are swept away by external forces. At times when it's easiest to lose our sense of self, we began creating music by focusing on 'selfhood' and 'our togetherness.' While we may not have fully discovered our complete selves yet, the meaning behind "Arrm8 (아름8)" is even more special to us. We hope this work becomes like a roll of film, capturing moments that were most true to ourselves, and shining ever more beautifully with time.

## Infinite Beauty

"Arrm8 (아름8)" holds a special meaning that transcends digital formats. We wanted to share the power of a tangible object that can be held, seen, and heard. Therefore, we have produced this album on physical CD and LP. Through these physical albums, we hope to share our moments with you more meaningfully, fostering empathy and providing strength and comfort during challenging times.

## Artwork

The triangular 'tri-star' symbol used in the album artwork is the representative logo of the Lee Hee Sung Jiu-Jitsu Academy, with branches across Korea, centered around the Sinchon main branch. We are deeply grateful for the generous permission to use this logo for the "Arrm8" project, allowing us to present a more meaningful and beautiful work to you.

'앨범 소개'
이번 정규 앨범 "Arrm8(아름8)"은 각자가, 그리고 함께 그동안 쌓아왔던 사운드를 하나의 결과물로 융합한 작품입니다. ‘아름답다’의 어원은 ‘나답다’, ‘나와 같다’로, ‘가장 나다운 것’이라는 의미를 포함하고 있습니다. 숫자 8은 무한을 뜻하는 뫼비우스 띠의 형상을 세로로 세워둔 모습에서 착안했습니다. 그래서 "Arrm8(아름8)"은 ‘무한한 아름다움’, 즉 ‘무한한 나다움’을 의미합니다.
빠르게 변하고 흘러가는 세상 속에서 우리는 무엇인가에, 혹은 누군가에 의해 ‘나다움’을 잃고 휩쓸리기 일쑤입니다. 나다움을 잃어버리기 가장 쉬울 때, 저희는 오히려 나다움과 우리다움에 집중하며 곡을 만들기 시작했습니다. 어쩌면 아직도 완벽한 나다움을 찾지 못했을 수도 있습니다. 그렇기에 이 "Arrm8(아름8)"의 의미는 저희에게 더욱 특별합니다. 가장 나답고 우리다웠던 순간이 기록되어 있는, 시간이 지날수록 더욱 아름답게 빛나는 한 롤의 필름 같은 작품이 되기를 바랍니다.

'무한한 아름다움'
"Arrm8(아름8)"은 디지털로만 머물기엔 너무나 특별한 의미를 담고 있습니다. 직접 손에 쥐고, 보고, 들으며 느껴지는 실물의 힘을 여러분과 나누고 싶었습니다. 그래서 이 앨범을 피지컬 CD와 LP로 제작하고자 합니다. 이 피지컬 앨범을 통해 여러분들과 저희의 순간을 더욱 뜻깊게 공유하고, 공감하며, 가장 흔들리는 순간이나 힘들고 지치는 순간에 큰 힘과 위로가 됐으면 좋겠습니다.

'ARTWORK'
앨범 아트워크에 사용된 삼각표창은 현재 신촌본관을 중심으로 대한민국 각지에 위치한 이희성주짓수아카데미를 상징하는 대표 로고입니다. 이번 《Arrm8》 프로젝트를 위해 해당 로고의 사용을 넓은 마음으로 허락해 주신 덕분에, 저희는 여러분께 더욱 의미 있고 아름다운 작품을 선보일 수 있게 되었습니다.
