The dial features an Azimuthal equidistant map projection centered on the North Pole. The circular clock is mounted on a square, pyramid-shaped base.
This is a rare vintage item, with similar pieces trading between $700 and $1,000 internationally.
While it was functional intermittently when first acquired, it is no longer operational. The feasibility of repair is unknown due to a lack of specialized knowledge.
Even as an interior decor piece, it creates an antique and luxurious ambiance.

북극 중심의 방위 등거리에 투영된 지도 (Azimuthal equidistant map)가 다이얼에 그려져 있으며, 사각형의 피라미드형 베이스 위에 원형 시계가 장착된 형태입니다.
희소성이 있는 빈티지 제품으로 외국에서도 약 700에서 1,000달러 사이의 가격대에 거래되는 시계 입니다
제가 처음 받았을 때는 가끔씩 작동은 되었지만 지금은 아예 안되네요
전문지식이 없어 수리가 가능할지는 모르겠네요
그냥 인테리어 소품으로만 사용해도 앤틱하고, 고급스러운 분위기를 만들어 냅니다
