파코인터내셔날(대표 박준성)에서 이번 F/W시즌 국내에 런칭한 이탈리아 남성복 「빈티지55」가 롯데백화점 본점 5층에 1호점을 열었다. 지난 5월 AK플라자 분당점에 팝업스토어를 선보였지만 정식 매장은 이번이 처음이다.

아메리칸 빈티지를 현대적으로 재해석한 이 브랜드는 매장 분위기 또한 빈티지하게 꾸몄다. 전체적으로 다크한 그린과 우드가 어우러져 있다.

「빈티지55」는 ‘말론 브란도’의 티셔츠, ‘제임스딘’의 데님, ‘마릴린 먼로’의 스웨터 등 1950~1960년대의 아이코닉한 배우와 아티스트의 시그니처 아이템에서 영감을 얻어 현대적인 머테리얼(Material)과 트렌드를 접목해 새로운 빈티지 스타일을 제안한다. 지난 시대의 뮤직월드 & 할리우드 시네마 황금기를 추억할 수 있는 브랜드다.

한편 「빈티지55」는 1997년 Davide De Giglio가 미국의 빈티지 클로딩에서 영감을 받아 직접 빈티지 아이템을 수입, 이탈리아에 전개하기 시작하면서 탄생했다. 2005년에 밀라노 Ponte Vetero가 첫번째 플래그십 스토어를 오픈하고 피렌체를 비롯한 두바이, 홍콩, 중국, 일본 등에 단독숍을 전개 중이다. 그외 유럽 내 350개, 미국 10개, 아시아 90개 및 중동 15개의 백화점 및 멀티 브랜드 숍을 운영하고 있다.
