Takaoka cast bronze has earned global recognition for its delicate precision casting techniques and deep coloring methods. Hakuhou Studio, in particular, is a historic establishment primarily producing high-quality tea and incense ceremony wares characterized by balanced proportions and elegant sculptural beauty.

This piece is estimated to be a vintage antique, created in the mid-to-late 20th century (approximately the 1970s-1980s). The unique, profound luster and antique feel of the patinated bronze, naturally formed over time, add significant collector's value.

일본의 400년 전통 청동 공예 성지인 도야마현 다카오카(高岡) 지역의 명가, 백봉 공방(白峰造)에서 제작된 청동(당동) 동자 향로입니다. 다카오카 주물은 섬세한 정밀 주조 공법과 깊이 있는 발색 기법으로 세계적인 명성을 인정받아 왔으며, 백봉 공방은 그 중에서도 균형 잡힌 비례감과 유려한 조형미를 갖춘 고급 다도·향도 전문 기물을 주로 생산해 온 역사 깊은 곳입니다.
