The fish motif symbolizes fertility and abundance. Due to the fish's characteristic of keeping its eyes open even while sleeping, it also represents 'Boksum (warding off evil spirits)'.
Approximately 11cm in height, with a mouth diameter of approximately 19cm.
This appears to be a jar used for serving rice.
The presence of sand marks on the base and the condition of the clay suggest considerable age. Considering the abstract representation of the fish motif, the finishing of the base, and the glaze color, it can be inferred to be from a Haeju kiln from the late 19th to early 20th century.

물고기 무늬(어문)는 다산과 풍요, 그리고 잠잘 때도 눈을 뜨고 있는 물고기의 특성상 '벽사(나쁜 기운을 막음)'의 의미를 담고 있습니다.
높이 약 11cm, 구연부 지름 약 19cm
밥을 담는 합 형태로 보입니다.
굽 부분의 모래 받침 흔적과 태토 상태가 세월감을 보이고 있고 어문 도안의 추상적인 표현 방식과 굽의 마감 처리, 유약의 색상 등을 종합할 때 19~ 20세기 초 해주가마로 유추할 수 있습니다.
