A traditional Korean ink painting (Mookgukdo) featuring chrysanthemums, a symbol of autumn and one of the Four Noble Gentlemen. The artwork masterfully uses varying shades of ink to depict the flowers.

On the left side of the painting, a poem in flowing Hanja script is inscribed. This poem, quoting a line by the Tang Dynasty poet Sikong Tu, praises the reclusive philosophy of Tao Yuanming (Tao Qian), who abandoned his official post to cultivate chrysanthemums in his homeland, thus embodying integrity and a secluded life.
